Hi! My name is Erik Billing. I was born 1981 in Karlstad, Sweden and grew up on a island in north of Vänern, called Hammarö. When I finished upper secondary school I moved to Umeå to study Cognitive Science at Umeå University. I finished the Cognitive Science programme fall 2005 and I'm now doing my first year as Phd student at the Computing Science Department of Umeå University. My main area of research is learning in intelligent robots. Even though my work as a researcher in computing science does require some time in front of the computer, I have not managed to entirely stay away from the keyboard on my free time eather. Some if this key-pushing have actually resulted in software I have found worthy to present for public eyes, and consequently it's available here at ekhagen.org/software.
